Matt Archer’s experience in the financial services industry began in 1997 as an intern with Merrill Lynch in New York. In 2000 he began working as an independent financial advisor with FSC Securities. Today, his focus is on partnering with affluent individuals, families and small business owners that want to consolidate and manage their financial affairs. 

Matt founded AIM Advisors in 2006 and strives to help clients attain financial freedom by making their financial goals and dreams a reality. A graduate of Brockport State University, he has a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Economics, along with several industry licenses. Matt consistently applies his education and experience to the solutions he provides for clients and is a key member of the AIM Advisors team. 

Passionate about his community, Matt serves on the Board of Directors for BEGINNINGS for Parents of Children Who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and was the Committee and Event Chair for the NC Tour de Cure for several years. As a long-time member of the Rotary Club of Wakefield, he has worked on many fundraisers and events to support the local area. Matt is also an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer and has completed a number of IRONMAN Races as a member of the Moxie Multisport Race Team. Additionally, he has competed in the Boston Marathon, twice in the Raleigh City of Oaks Marathon and is a 7-time competitor in the Marine Corp Marathon as a member of Team Dykeman, which is a scholarship fund honoring a fallen Marine killed in Iraq in 2008.

Matt is a die-hard sports fan and loves seeing baseball games at stadiums across the country. Saturdays in the fall you can usually find him at North Carolina State University football games. Matt also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and visiting his daughter, Madison, who is in the Nursing Program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

A financial advisor since 2006 and a financial services professional since 2004, Nina O’Neal is an industry veteran. She began her career in New York, NY in institutional finance and after some time on Wall Street, moved back to North Carolina to become a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch. In 2009, Nina became co-owner of AIM Advisors to fulfill her desire to provide unparalleled client service. Today, she focuses on bringing her experience with large pensions, endowments and corporations both to individuals and to businesses. 

Nina is frequently sought out as a panelist and participant in industry conferences, as well as a podcast guest. She is a writer on practice management and industry topics for Financial Planning Magazine and a contributor to the book How I Invest My Money: Finance in which experts reveal how they save, spend and invest. 

In 2019, Nina founded The Female Advisor Network, a national membership organization for female financial advisors, with the mission to create a community of support, mentorship, collaboration and education for female advisors. She is also very passionate about her community and has supported, sponsored and planned numerous charity events. Nina is a member of Hayes Barton United Methodist Church and the North Carolina State University Club; she is also an active parent at St. David’s School and the West Raleigh Baseball Association. 

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Nina remains local to the area and loves trying new experiences, restaurants, etc. She also enjoys traveling, is an avid reader and spends most of her time with her boys, Lowe and Emmett.

Claire is a graduate of North Carolina State University where she studied Brand Management and Marketing. She joined Archer Investment Management in 2018 as a marketing intern and has grown her role into the firm’s full-time Director of Operations. Claire also serves as the Member Associate for the Female Advisor Network, founded by Nina O’Neal in 2019.

Since joining the team, Claire has taken on many roles that have challenged her professionally and helped her realize her passion for marketing and improving the overall client experience.

In her free time, Claire organizes. She labels just about everything and enjoys hosting guests whenever an opportunity arises. On the weekends she can be found exploring new Raleigh restaurants with friends, on the green due to her love/hate relationship with golf, or with her black lab, Rosie.
